A BIG CALL FOR HELP!

Hey everyone, I know this is going to be sort of weird, but I need some assistance with something.

I'm trying to help a friend of mine who works for my old company. He works for the division that places high school exchange students from Europe (mostly) with host families in America.

Anyway, they are running a little, well, behind! They are still finishing organizing permanent families for these kids - but in the meantime they are all booked and arriving in a couple weeks.

So we need volunteer temporary host families - probably for a month-ish. The company can't offer you anything except the cool experience of having one of these exchange students around for a little bit (and I've led tours with these exchange students and my experience in the past was great!).

Maybe you've considered having an exchange student some day but aren't sure if you'd like it or not? PERFECT OPPORTUNITY TO TRY IT OUT!

The kiddo has to have a place to sleep - so no couches. They can share with other kids, if you have them, but they need to be same sex and approximately the same age. Or, if you have the room, you could take two and they could entertain each other!

But seriously - we're really desperate to place some kids (I told him I'd try to help with 5) and if you have any good ideas for interested parties please please contact me. We are running pretty short on time!

Hey Ash, I cut and pasted your posting and I am sending this to all the my bosses and their bosses. What kid wouldn't want to stay in a fancy penthouse our townhouse in the city or Brooklyn Heights? I also forwarded it to my old Eurocentric bosses at McKinsey and some better off friends in the neighborhood. If I had a spare room I would be happy to help out but alas they would be condemed to sleep on my sofa. Wayne has space but he also has a very immature roommate and I don't want the kid to get mixed up in anything sketchy. I'll let you know.
